Already one month ago but definitely a show which is worth mentioning on my page! The Modellbau Team Düsseldorf has very much enjoyed the 2.5 days at the Euro Model Expo in Lingen - Germany. Awesome modelling, nice dinner, lots of fun and as you can see below much honor and many medals for our team. Keep it up! See you there next year.
Quick and... out of the box. After 2,5 weeks, I've finished my first Harbor tug for a harbor diorama. It was really fun to make this small guy.
This year Telford was a very valuable trip, a great show, nice people and a number of recognitions for my works! Thanks to the IPMS Germany for the nice special price for my EC-135!
Some impressions of the show and the trip of Hauke, Holger, Lutz and myself you will find in the following gallery.
Last weekend I started with the wooden framework for the Enterprise diorama. Therefore, I already cut main parts for the island an the flight deck. Additionally, I began working on the first P-25 fire fighting truck. See the complete "Project E72" here.
Already a few weeks ago I've visited together with my girlfriend the Royal Fleet Air Arm Museum at the RNAS Yeovilton which is located in the south of England more or less between Stonehenge and Glastonbury. So, if you are around take a half day to visit this museum. All in all, the museum was relatively dark which means that my pictures unfortunately a bit blurry. Here is the Website.
